Alexander Oddy leads the Insurance & Professional Risks team at Herbert Smith Freehills. He handles all aspects of insurance coverage disputes. He also heads the firm’s market leading Alternative Dispute Resolution practice. He is particularly known for working with clients in the energy and natural resources sector where he has represented policyholders on many of the largest losses in the London and international insurance markets, assisting clients to recover billions of dollars from insurers through negotiation, mediation, litigation and arbitration. Alex is a solicitor advocate and a CEDR accredited mediator.
