Michael joined the UK power industry as an apprentice in 1991. During his 25 years working in the power industry, he gaining experience working in coal and gas fired power stations, holding a variety of roles in Production, Engineering, Safety and Management.
His insurance career began in 2015. He currently works for SCOR as a Risk Control Engineer Power and Boiler & Machinery, based in London. He specialises in the risk engineering of all areas of the power industry on both construction and operational power risks, carrying out risk surveys throughout the world. Prior to SCOR, Michael has held similar roles at Berkshire Hathaway and StarStone Insurance in London.
