Speakers / Ben Adams
Ben is an electrical engineer and started in the power industry over 20 years ago at a large coal power station in the UK. In the years since, he has worked for RWE and ENGIE (previously GDF Suez and International Power) providing technical support on electrical power equipment issues on both conventional and renewable power plants.
After being made redundant from the power industry four years ago, Ben now works at the Hawkins where he has provided technical consultancy and forensic failure investigation on various transformer, generator and motors around the world. Ben is an active member of the international CIGRE electrical machines and the UK Steam Turbine and Generator user group where he regularly presents on the subject of generators.
