Ben Nicholson is the Managing Partner in the Singapore office of Wotton + Kearney.
Ben advises on all aspects of insurance and reinsurance law, with particular expertise in property, energy, construction and engineering and infrastructure risks. His experience covers professional liability insurance, energy policy insurance and cross-border claims. Ben advises on international insurance programmes covering risks in multiple jurisdictions.
Ben’s main practice is advising on large and complex claims arising from, operational power risks, CAR/EAR and related DSU/ALOP, commercial product liability, natural catastrophe and under multinational insurance programmes. He advises on all forms of reinsurance arrangements and experienced in facultative and treaty reinsurance disputes both in London, New York and in Asia-Pacific.
Ben’s expertise in dispute resolution includes mediation in Europe, North America and Asia, international arbitration, High Court Litigation in London and Hong Kong and acting as monitoring counsel in relation to litigation in various jurisdictions around the world.
