Chen Youming is an Associate of Burgoyne’s Singapore Office. He is a materials engineer specialising in the investigation of losses involving materials failures.

Youming has carried out numerous investigations into the cause of both land-based and marine incidents of an engineering nature. Incidents that Youming has investigated include fracture, corrosion, cracking, degradation and embrittlement of metallic and non-metallic components. In particular, Youming has investigated numerous losses involving gas, steam, hydraulic and wind turbine generators and losses in solar farms.

Youming is a Professional Member of the Institute of Materials, Minerals and Mining, and is fluent in English and Mandarin.
