Myles has thirty years of experience of claims handling and management and his experience includes all classes of onshore and offshore energy claims. In recent years, his experience has extended to include renewable energy and he has handled numerous large renewable energy claims, including solar, and onshore and offshore wind. He has considerable experience of working in a Lead role and regularly interacts with clients, brokers and loss adjusters to achieve resolution of complex losses. Myles is also a member of the London market energy claims groups and the LMA JNRC Offshore Wind Sub-Committee where he is involved in developing new market wordings. In addition to his claims-handling experience, Myles holds the FCII insurance qualification and a MSc, having recently completed a period of postgraduate engineering study with Aberdeen and Heriot-Watt universities which included renewable energy generation, transmission, grid systems, transmission cables and fibre optic sensing systems. He also holds MIET and MEI designations.
