David joined HDI Global in March to lead the Energy & Power claims practice with global responsibility for Power, Onshore Energy, Offshore Energy and Renewables claims, both Operational and Construction.

David is a qualified Mining Engineer. He started his career as an oil and gas project engineer specialising in offshore production, construction and decommissioning. His first role in claims was Loss Adjusting in London, frequently traveling to Asia, Europe and Africa to adjust energy claims both offshore and onshore. He has been an Energy and Property Claims Manager handling complex and challenging claims for nearly 20 years. David serves on London market claims and underwriting committees and is on the board of the Loss Executives Association in the USA.
