David Phipp is a Chartered Marine Engineer who has spent the last 30+ years Underwiring power generation risks from both an operational and construction perspective. Having started his insurance career back in 1995 with National Vulcan, he has worked for a number of Insurers / Lloyds Syndicates in the London Market and here in Singapore. David Joined TMHCC from Scor back in 2024 to start up a book of power generation business to compliment the renewable energy offering already distributed via TMHCC’s GCube / GX platform. Over his career he has been a representative member on the LEG and London Market PowerGen committees, and an advisor on decommissioning risks to the UK Nuclear Pool.
