Hui Zhi started War & Terrorism Underwriting in Catlin (a Lloyd’s Syndicate) in Singapore in 2007 as a Graduate Trainee. In 2013, she relocated to Catlin’s headquarters in London as a Business Analyst where she was working with top management to manage business performance, business planning, research and analysis for the Group.
Hui Zhi returned home to Singapore in 2015 to look after the Asia Pacific offices and moved on to similar roles in Zurich Insurance and Asia Capital Reinsurance, expanding her exposure to various sectors of the Underwriting industry.
In the midst of the pandemic, Hui Zhi joined Markel International Singapore as their first Singapore-based War and Terrorism Underwriter, primarily covering risks in Southeast and East Asia, and the Pacific.
