Titus Samuel was appointed as Chubb’s Head of Power Generation and Utilities for Asia, in April 2017. He is responsible for the underwriting of the Operational Power Generation & Utilities portfolio for the region.

In the last five years since his move into underwriting, he has underwritten a varied class of power generation assets, including combined cycle plants, hydro, geothermal, coal, wind and solar, large and small power, across Asia.

A Mechanical Engineer by training, he has undertaken extensive risk management work on operational facilities and construction projects across a broad spectrum of power generation facilities and downstream petrochemical facilities in the Asia Pacific region.
