APF 2019 Speakers / Ben Adams
Ben started in the power industry as an Electrical Engineer at a large 4GW coal-fired power station in the UK. Following that, he went on to work as a Generator Engineer at RWE npower, supporting their UK fleet and providing external consultancy to plants around the world. In 2013, Ben moved to ENGIE (formally International Power and GDF SUEZ), and during this time, he was involved with many failures of electrical equipment around the world on a large international fleet of 117GW power plants.
Since leaving ENGIE, Ben is now working as a Senior Associate with Hawkins, providing forensic/consultant services with a particular specialism in generators and power plant claims.
